Syfy Orders Pilot for Dominion Based on the Film Legion

SyFy recently announced that the network has plans to create a television shows based on the 2010 film, Legion. The series would be called “Dominion” and as of last week the pilot has been picked up.

Despite SyFy calling Legion a hit film, it actually did not fare well among critics and audiences. Rotten Tomatoes gives the movie an average score of 3.8 out of 10. Metacritic has an overall score of 32% out of 100. While Legion had great potential to be something amazing and entertaining, it falls short.

“Dominion” takes place 25 years after the events of the film. Even though the movie is sub par, this upcoming television show has an opportunity to transform the story into something better. As long as it does not follow the weak footsteps of its movie predecessor.

There is no word yet on who is being eyed to star in the series or when production will begin.
