Last month, Seth Gordon dropped out of the Horrible Bosses sequel, however, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Pictures has hired on Sean Anders to direct the project. He will also be bringing on his writing partner, John Morris, to serve as an executive producer.
The 2011 original film was written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein and the duo has confirmed they are drafting the sequel. Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and (my love) Charlie Day as well as Jamie Foxx will reprise their roles.
Anders is most known for directing the films, Sex Drive and That’s My Boy. He also worked alongside Morris to draft screenplays for the films We’re the Millers, Hot Tub Time Machine and Mr. Popper’s Penguins.
There is no word yet on when Horrible Bosses 2 will hit theaters.
