If you thought “Resident Evil 4” was over, you were wrong. You might remember that the fourth installment in the franchise was the most successful and most popular. Now, Capcom has officially announced that “Resident Evil 4” will be re-released in HD.
The news was announced earlier today. The HD version will be released for PC as a digital download on Steam as well as in retail stores in Europe beginning February 28, 2014 for $19.99/€19.99.
“Resident Evil 4 HD” will be available for the first time in a smooth 60 frames per second giving it the highest visual fidelity ever.
The story follows the U.S. government special agent Leon S. Kennedy, who is sent on a mission to rescue Ashley Graham, the U.S. President’s daughter, who has been kidnapped by a sinister cult. Traveling to a remote rural area of Europe, Leon fights hordes of violent villagers and mutated monsters, and reunites with the mysterious spy Ada Wong. The game pioneered and popularized the “over the shoulder” third-person view perspective in video games.
